Tools you should prepare

  • Plastic Wrap
  • Permanent Marker
  • Scissor
  • Scotch Tape

The process of making a template

  • First, place the plastic wrap over the bald area of your head and secure it in place.
  • At first, The optimal method is to mark the front hairline with a permanent marker. To determine where the hairline is reasonable, you can place four fingers from your eyebrow. Commonly, the index finger is the origin of your hairline. To look more natural, a hairline should have a deeper recession.
  • Next, you should outline the bald area. In this step, you should make sure the bald area on the head is completely covered.
  • Then, you should mark F for front and B for back on the template, which is a solution to prevent manufactures such as Lavivid from confusing the front and back of a wig. At the same time, it also needs to mark crown and hair direction.
  • The next step is to apply a layer of scotch tape from side to side. In addition, apply another layer of scotch tape from front to back. After it is ready, press it to make it in shape.
  • Cutting the excess tape.
